A makeover of the house appears glitzy in pictures. As a matter of fact, it is sloppy, costly, irritating- and so very gratifying when done properly. The reason behind this blog is to fill that gap between expectation and reality.
I did not begin as a professional contractors and designer. I began by doing my own place. What had started as minor improvements, soon grew into larger ones, sleepless nights, unanticipated issues, and plenty of learning the hard way. During the journey, I also undertook some renovation works of friends who asked me to do so not that I was forced to do it–but because I enjoyed doing it.
Everything you’ll find here is based on that hands-on experience.
